2183-- Attack on the Citadel; Saren is killed and Sovereign is destroyed
2183-- Shepard spaced
2183-- Attack on San Francisco
2183-- First Jaegers commissioned; mech technology has existed in the form of security mechs and larger models like the ATLAS, but much had to be redesigned in order to deal with both the sea and the sheer size of the mechs. New integrated AI programs are written to assist the pilots in their duties. Quarian prototype technology meant to mimic the Asari mind-melding technique is developed to synch the pilots with their mechs through a neural network. Furthermore, Quarian expertise with mech construction allowed lighter, easier to control Jaegers. This, paired with the Quarian nerve stimulators allowed a single pilot to control the large machines.
2183 (few months later)-- Solo pilots begin to exhibit signs of severe mental stress. Even with the improved technology and the nerve stimulators, a second pilot is deemed necessary.
2183-- First attack on Palaven
2184-- First attack on Thessia
2184-- First attack on Illium
2184-- Studies of the Kaiju remains carried out by Salarians reveal them to be bio-synthetic organisms; any connection to the "Reaper" Sovereign is denied.
2184-- First attack on Sur'Kesh
CURRENTLY MID-2185
Potential Asari colonies to be targeted
Cyone
Lusia
Nevos
Niacal
Trategos
Zesmeni
Potential Turian colonies to be targeted
Altakiril
Digeris
Oma Ker
Taetrus
And that is all because there's butt-fuckin' nothing on all the rest of the planets.
Other possible planets
Vorcha homeworld-- Hestok
Blood Pack Training Grounds-- Flett
More to come??
Erinle-- Salarian; destroyed for tactical reasons?
Kahje-- Hanar homeworld
Khar'shan-- Batarian homeworld
Aratoht-- meant to weaken Batarian military and proximity of the Alpha Relay
